HAVE A GLASS OF WATER

Water is so important for me yet I forget about it all the time. Apparently if I don’t drink water I will die. Staying hydrated can make all the difference in the world in my well being through out the day. Water is essential to all of us, and so it’s essential to maintain your hydration. My human body is about 60 percent water. I try to take two big glasses of water as soon after waking as I can, and definitely before I’ve eaten anything. It is so good for your health to make sure that water is the first thing going into your system everyday. It gets the body moving and the energy flowing. Since the brain is mostly water, drinking it helps you think, focus and concentrate better and be more alert. Hydrated people are scientifically hotter.

When I was a teenager, I got the tip to stay hydrated to help improve my troubled skin. Water will purge toxins from the blood, resulting in a glow to your skin and a reduced risk of pimples. I think that was enough of a reason for me to drink water at the time.

In my twenties, I had a Poland Springs free standing water cooler placed in my kitchen in Boston. I would drink water when I went out drinking and dancing. When I went to the bathroom, after washing my hands I would cup them under the faucet and put two big scoops of water in my mouth. I knew a bit about staying hydrated, but then again maybe I was doing it for my skin in case I met that great guy.

As I got older I started drinking water more. Drinking water first thing in the morning increases the production of new blood and muscle cells. It balances your lymph system, which boosts your immune system and balances all of the other fluids in your body. I started practicing the 8 X 8 rule: eight ounces of water eight times a day. I saw a difference in how I felt throughout the day. Drinking chilled water will boost your metabolism, which helps if you are trying to loose weight. Water also helps flush through your intestinal tract, which makes it easier for your body to absorb nutrients through the rest of the day.

Water is the best anti-aging treatment around. It helps with avoiding wrinkles. It also helps with headaches and body aches. I am getting into the habit of having a water bottle with me at all times. I have found I don't need to medicate as much as I need to hydrate. Have a glass of water or eight.
